I was reading the Manby regs, as I know we all do, clearly not just flipping to the last page, printing it off and filling it in..... When I noticed the details under the COURSE heading.

'20km laps with a target number of 16 laps.'

My question is, if I'm to get close to 16, 20km laps in 4 hours I need do some serious motoring; that's an average of 80km/hr!!

If the lap is just an Indy oval, or indeed a 10km straight followed by a house sized burm and another 10km straight back to another huge burm, then I might be in with a chance.

I would have to gear the bike accordingly, of course. Maybe fit an aftermarket KTM EXC faring?

Tyre choice is going to be key here too.........

Does anyone else have any useful ideas on how I might get my average speed up to 80km/hr? Laughing

MMmmmm Question Question well it looks like the Girlz are gonna struggle Exclamation Laughing

I think this may be a typing error, Manby is a new course so it is very difficult to calculate the number of target laps etc etc until we have held an event there. So should be more accurate next year, but well spotted and don't panic Shocked
